2011 is coming to an end, and what a year it's been. India won the World Cup, England became the number one ranked side in the world, and Middlesex gained a generation-defining promotion from Division Two. So to look back on all of the action (as well as ranking cricket's worst haircuts, and a few other awards besides), Will has taken a break from his podcast sabbatical to put together the ultimate cricketing review of the year.

India are all injured, so will looks at why, as well as working out whether Tim Bresnan really is the greatest all-rounder in the world and if England should go in to Edgbaston with only six batsmen.

The 2000th test was played, and it was a fitting test. England won, and had some quality performances, whilst India lost despite some valiant stuff with both bat and ball. Will talks about the resurgence of Stuart Broad as a test bowler (whilst taking credit for this return to form) as well as KP and Prior's runs. Sachin is sung about, but Will hails Dravid, and ponders what would happen if Sachin didn't exist. There's some thoughts on the use of the DRS, and musings on the health of test cricket. All of this, and a preview of the Trent Bridge test. What a great way to spend twenty four minutes and ten seconds!

After an IPL provoked absence, Will's been provoked into a podcast thanks to Slinger Malinga's preference for the greens over the whites. (Green being the colour of money. And whites being the colour of test cricket.) Chris Gayle's also turned his back on his country in order to satisfy his bank manager, so Will looks at why. Plus some stuff about whether Dilshan will actually be Sri Lankan captain at all, and some more about the money-grabbing ICC and their evil associate-killing ways. Spiceworld!

After years of build up, and a similiarly lengthed tournament, we have our World Cup finalists! (In case you didn't know, it's not Kenya v Holland). It's India v Sri Lanka; MS v Sanga; Sachin v Murali. Who writes these scripts? Will looks at the chances of both sides, and makes a bold prediction. He also looks at the semi-final losers, and the reasons why they were cast off into the ether. Plus why Pakistan shouldn't blame Misbah (or at least shouldn't torch his house). All of that, plus reasons why Will wouldn't have minded a major diplomatic incident. It's literally all going on, Richard.

This World Cup is really hotting up! At least, half of it is. While Group A's all sorted out, there's a lot of issues left to be dealt with in Group B, which is getting rather exciting. Places in the quarter finals beckon for some, and places on the bonfire of broken dreams for the rest. Will it be England, or Ireland, or Bangladesh, or West Indies, or South Africa or India? Or could it even be Holland who sneaks through? (It can't). Will got his calculator out to see who it could be. More updates on everyone's chances, and there's a new leader in the Fantasy League. Get in.
